The Goodwill Cricket League was organized on 13 April 2014 at the MCA Ground Borivali, Mumbai. The Chief Guest of the programme was Rakesh Maria, Police Commissioner of Mumbai. The Guests of Honour included representatives from religious organisations of different communities, promoting unity and goodwill.
Purpose of the Event
The Goodwill Cricket League was organized to foster unity, mutual respect, and stronger relationships between key community stakeholders, including Mumbai Police, media professionals, journalists, and BMC representatives. By bringing together participants from diverse backgrounds on a common sporting platform, the event aimed to promote harmony, goodwill, and collaboration beyond professional boundaries, reinforcing the spirit of togetherness within the city.

Chief Guests & Attendees
A total of 8 teams participated in the tournament:
• 2 teams from Mumbai Police
• 2 teams of Journalists
• 2 teams from BMC
• 2 teams from Media
For the first time, two teams each from Mumbai Police, journalists, BMC, and media participated in the league. The winning team of the tournament was the Police team.
